Lara Eduardo

Eduardo Lara (born in Mexico City, 1975)

Member of Association of Czech Graphic Artists Hollar since 2021.

Studied painting and printmaking at the Faculty of Arts and Design of the National University of Mexico (UNAM). He has done both solo exhibitions as well as participated in several collective exhibitions in Mexico and around the world in countries such as Cuba, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia & Czech Republic, just to mention a few. Since 2018 is curator and coordinator of the International Printmaking Project – Sin Rumbo Fijo.

 

Proffesional Studies:

Studied Visual Arts 2000 at the ENAP (National School of Plastic Arts), UNAM in Mexico City.

 

Awards and Acknowledgements:

2000 • First Prize in the VIII National Printmaking Contest on a modern interpretation of “El ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha”, Guanajuato, Mexico.

1999 • Nomination Award in the VIII International Biennale of Small Graphic Form and Ex-Libris, in Ostrów, Wielkopolski, Poland.

1998 • Honorable Mention in the VII National Printmaking Contest on a modern interpretation of “El ingenioso Hidalgo Don Quijote de la Mancha”, Guanajuato, Mexico.
